Santorini Dome Series silver jewelry collection was inspired by Kaminer’s travels to Greece with her husband Matt. The island of Santorini has incredibly stunning architecture atop an ancient volcano caldera. One of the distinguishable architectural elements is the blue dome, as represented in this series both through the rounded shapes and color of the steel detail elements. The architecture on the caldera side of the island is very dense and layered, so Kaminer referenced that layering in the jewelry designs. Additionally, the majority of the architecture is white, so silver was the natural choice for this unique collection.
